WordPress 2.6.1 Available For Download

The wordpress version 2.6.1 available for download. This was released on August 15th. The Independence Day in my country. I don’t have proper knowledge of html but I upgraded to latest wordpress version easily. How? Just download the wordpress automatic upgrade plugin here and upload it to your server through FTP. When ever they release new version of wordpress it will intimate you automatically and to upgrade the version just click upgrade automatically in the plugins section. You don’t need to have html knowledge to do this. Before doing the step just back up all the necessary files. For example I have the cforms plugin when ever I upgrade to latest version of wordpress all the data in it will be lost so I have to back up the data.
So back up the data and follow the instructions shown. After upgrading the latest wordpress version you have to re-activate the plugins which got de-activated before upgrading. In this way you can upgrade to latest wordpress version with out much difficulty. There were some bugs in previous versions of wordpress which they have fixed it now. Now you can see the active plugins on upper side and de-activated plugins downside.
