Blog Income Report – October 2008
The October month passed very slowly. I could not do regular postings because I have examinations so I have to concentrate on my studies. But I could make a decent income even I am not regular at blogging. I have to manage both things on one plane. In the month of October I have applied to major networks but they turned down my application. May be I am not regular at blogging and the blog is still in development mode.

I will re-apply to them in future. Many bloggers are worried that due to global melt down their income would decrease because there would be reduce in online purchase but this season can be beneficial for them because Christmas in coming near, so people hope there will be swing in their earnings if people make purchases online. I don’t want to depend on adsense any more I would like to make money with affiliate marketing. It is not good to pull all the eggs in one basket. It is good for bloggers like clickfornick, who brings majority of blog’s income from adsense.They need not spend too much time on applying to affiliate programs and promoting them.
Blogger’s Choice Awards Winners
The winners have been announced for bloggers choice awards. Blogger’s choice awards are the place where different blogs participate related to different categories. The best blog in each category is decided by voting done through its members. My blog too participated in the awards but did not make it to top because my blog is new and not popular enough. It is till in developing mode and I am not regular at posting articles. My blog was nominated in best blog about blogging category. I have undergraduation examinations going on last two weeks. By participating in such things there are chances of getting maximum exposure for our blogs. The first one is peta who have done controversial things all the time and the last to finish was Perez Hilton which is worst blog of all time.

Let me tell my personal experience few days before I got an email from libertyreserve stating that my account is inactive. To remain I should login to my account immediately unknowingly I clicked the link in email. The link which I opened is sent by some hacker. Mozilla immediately prompted that it is fraud link sent by some hackers. So I did not enter my username and password. It is anti-phishing and anti-hacker browser which people doesn’t know. The browsing is safer and secure when we are on Mozilla.The security features are not available on internet explorer.Such a safety is not provided by any browser.
Add Favorite add-ons And Search Engines:-
It has big list of cool add-ons which no other browser has even the recently launched internet explorer 8.0. if we get bored by the same look of the browser then we can change the theme of browser to have fresh look.
We can add our favorite search engine to the search box provided by firefox. Just with out typing we can search our favorite search engine with click of a mouse. People have different search engines as their favorites. This search engines are useful for people to find the information they are looking for with out putting much effort.

Its is one of the important tool for bloggers and webmasters. They need not go to www.alexa.com for measuring the traffic rank of blog or website. But here we get all the traffic rank details mentioned at the right bottom of the page.
Weather channel:-
People can add weather channel to know the weather condition in their area. We get weather alerts on real time.This tool is useful seeing five days weather forecast even in our local area.
Store id and passwords:-
Every time we need not type username and password. Just set remember username and password. It will autofill the username and password next time when you visit the website. This is extremely useful for home computers but not in cyber cafes.
Music On The Move:-
Now people need not open separate player for listening music by disturbing their work. Forefox has provided foxytunes player to listen our favorite music.
These add-ons occupy only little space and take little time to download to firefox. I no more use internet explorer because firefox is my favorite browser and I continue to use it. I therefore recommend you to download the firefox and browse the web faster in safer way.

I am using the google toolbar for many useful purposes from years. Let’s have a small sneak peek at it. The google toolbar has many options when compared to other toolbars provided. Basically millions of people use google search engine to find the information they want. With this toolbar they can find their required item easily and exactly. They can bookmark their favorite items with out missing a single page.
Google have integrated blog search so that people can find the blog they are looking for depending on the category. A few days ago unknowingly I accepted review from reviewme .I thought I will complete the review within few minutes. But when I checked the review details I was shocked. It is in espanol language which I don’t understand; google toolbar helped me to complete the review. I was able to translate the advertiser review in English and complete it on time.
